More guts, more glory!
For you to be here reading this you’re either a Spear-fisher or a committed Freediving Spear-fisher enthusiast. The subtle difference is, the former say they hunt because they enjoy being underwater on one breath, regardless if they catch something or not while the latter, confess to that exhilarating feeling of holding a speargun underwater completely emerged in the psyche of a hunter who is out for that kill. Pure determination.
Whichever category you think you fall under, we are connected by the ethos we carry while in the water.
Pulling the trigger on a fish is challenging both mentally and physically. In that moment you are responsible not only for the food you catch but how it’s caught. You realize in awe how one life becomes the food for another to exist. There’s definitely something very important catching from the wild the fish you eat.
You are reminded of your place on the food chain, and who you really are on the bigger scale. It helps you experience nature consciously knowing intrinsically that you are part of if and one with it!
It doesn’t matter how many times you go hunting underwater. On reflection, every time it’s mind blowing and unique, making the experience as rich as the world you see down there.
Learn and enjoy Freediving Spearfishing!
It will fill your soul!
